Albania Weather Summary
Albania has two distinct climates: the Mediterranean coast (hot dry summers, mild winters) and the mountainous interior (harsh winters, cool pleasant summers). The Riviera is best April–October. The Accursed Mountains are accessible for hiking June–October. The contrast between the seasons is dramatic — July on the coast is 35°C+, while the mountains above Valbona stay cool and fresh.
